perfect fit July 22, 2008 userid338 These buttons were a perfect match with my '01 explorer sport, they are a better material than the stock ford buttons, and much cheaper!
Cruise Control Switch August 29, 2008 Jose Pineda (Florida) Brand new item, great product, fit perfectly and was easy to install. Worked as advertise.
Perfect match September 18, 2009 James C. Miller Perfect match to my old buttons and perfect fit. Well they should be, they are Ford.
Never would have thought Amazon would be my auto parts supplier! October 23, 2009 J. SHARP (Houston, Texas) I have to admit, I was a little skeptical about ordering parts through Amazon for my car. But I was pleasantly surprised when I discovered the best price from one of my most trusted sites for online purchases.
The item was exactly as described and shipped quickly. I had it installed in a matter of an hour and I didn't have to drive all over the place trying to find it. I like getting home and finding the items I need on my front door step.
I need to order some other parts so I will be giving Amazon the business if they have what I need.
Much cheaper than the dealer, no installation info December 7, 2009 Que Tal Carolyn (Now living in Illinois, formerly on a boat in the Sea of Cortez) These are the same things you can buy from the dealer. However, there is no instruction information. Also, they come connected to a plug-in wiring harness that you can easily remove if your existing harness is OK.
We installed these in a 1999 Ford Explorer. See the installation information in the Ford Enthusiasts site, particularly all my notes about what NOT to do (it'd be an easy 30-minute job if I'd known these things):
[...](Amazon deleted my link. You can Google on "Ford Explorer Enthusiasts Forum" and once in the forums, go to "Search" and enter SW5928 (the part number). Look for the thread started by "aldive" -- it's very helpful and my comments are in there at the end.)
You can do it!
